Our Commitment to You
The People’s Docket exists to give power back to the people by holding public officials and institutions accountable. We guarantee:
No Alterations: We will never alter, edit, or change your report.
No Bribes: We will never accept financial compensation, bribes, or favors in exchange for altering, hiding, or removing a report.
Full Transparency: Every valid report that follows our guidelines will be posted publicly.
Timely Posting: While posting timeframes may vary depending on demand, all valid reports will be published. Nothing will be buried, delayed indefinitely, or erased.
Permanent Record: Once a report is filed and published, it remains part of the public record on The People’s Docket.
This is our non-negotiable promise of accountability.
What Gets Published
When you file a report, here’s what is made public:
Your initials (not your full name)
The incident details (exactly as you provide them, unaltered)
The public official or institution’s name and category
What is not public:
Demographic information (e.g., age, race, gender, income)
Contact information (e.g., phone, email, address)
Sensitive identifiers (e.g., medical records, Social Security numbers)
This non-public information is used only to track discrimination trends and improve accountability reporting.
Perjury & Responsibility
Every submission is filed under penalty of perjury. By submitting, you affirm your report is true to the best of your knowledge.
False or malicious reporting may expose you to civil or criminal liability.
The People’s Docket cannot and will not be held liable for the accuracy of your submissions. The responsibility for truth rests solely with the person filing the report.
Evidence Requirements
You may upload video, audio, photos, written documents, medical records, or other supporting evidence.
If the report involves sexual misconduct or sexual violations, you are required to provide the police case or file number.
If you need assistance reporting sexual misconduct to law enforcement, our team will do our best to connect you with support, but we cannot guarantee personal representation.
Publication Timeline
Initial Filing – Once you submit your report, it is timestamped and stored securely.
Two-Week Window – The official or institution involved has 14 days to respond or correct the issue before publication.
Public Posting –
If unresolved, the report, evidence, and details are published online and on social media.
If resolved, the report is published on the website but marked as Resolved and not amplified on social platforms.
No Removal Policy
Reports are permanent once filed.
We do not remove, retract, or erase reports — even if parties request it.
If an error is discovered (e.g., duplicate submissions or clerical mistakes), it will be corrected without altering your original words.
Disclaimer
The People’s Docket is not a court of law.
Reports are a matter of public accountability, not legal determination of guilt or innocence.
Officials or institutions named in reports may provide responses, which will also be posted publicly.
We encourage resolution, transparency, and corrective action, not defamation.
Enforcement & Trust
The People’s Docket is powered by the Geaux Create Foundation and was founded by two Black women, Mary and Tykeisha Jordan, who decided that enough is enough. This platform exists for truth, accountability, and empowerment.
We will never compromise that.
Your report. Your truth. Unaltered. Public. Permanent.
