The People’s Docket exists to give power back to the people. This is your space to report when government officials, public institutions, or those we entrust with authority have failed to uphold their duty — whether it’s ignoring your emails, breaking their commitments, abusing their power, or outright violating your rights.
We believe accountability should not be optional. The People’s Docket is here to send a clear message to those funded by our tax dollars: we are watching, and we will not allow misconduct, negligence, or abuse to slip under the radar.
At the same time, this is not about tearing leaders down. Our goal is to hold them to the standard they promised, to give them the opportunity to see reports about their conduct, and to make it right. If it takes being named on The People’s Docket to spark accountability, so be it. The mission is simple: do the job the people pay you to do.
Who We Are
The People’s Docket is powered by the Geaux Create Foundation and founded by two Black women, Marian Gbaiwon and Tykeisha Jordan, who decided enough is enough. Out of lived experiences with neglect, bias, and injustice, they created this space for everyday people to speak truth to power.
We are not here to silence, to cover up, or to excuse misconduct. We are here to document it, to make it visible, and to make sure that officials and institutions are reminded that their authority comes with responsibility to the people they serve.
What We Do
Document misconduct: We provide a safe and structured platform for people to share their experiences with public officials, institutions, and systems.
Spot trends: By tracking submissions, we can identify patterns of discrimination, neglect, and abuse across communities.
Promote accountability: Reports are visible to the public and to the officials themselves, giving them a chance to respond, correct, and make amends.
Empower the people: This platform is not about fear — it’s about truth. It’s about making sure people know their voices matter and that accountability belongs to all of us.
